Bring Yoga off the Mat!

I watched a documentary the other day and it was about Yoga and taking Yoga off the Mat. First it was a bit unclear to me how to do that and what it would exactly meant to do that. As Yoga is not just a practice or a physical exercise, it’s so much more and had such a deeper meaning than you might think.

For me, Yoga has been so far a practice to stabilise my Body and Mind in Peacefulness and Mindfulness, together with the Physical exercise aspect of it. It makes me feel good to do Yoga and it’s a great start of the day! I prefer doing Yoga in the morning, when I get up, before getting ready for my day. And Yoga is for Everyone! No matter what Age, Size, Shape, Ethnicity or Religion.

But, I learned now that Yoga does not just help you in that moment of doing the positions but that there is so much more to it! You can bring Yoga with you during your day in a way that you can reflect your Yoga into whatever you’re doing during the day or towards other people.

It’s like with Mindfulness, you bring your stabilised energies from your Body and Mind into your daily routine and keep that Feeling and Mindset during the rest of your day. I do feel it’s a process of Learning to do that, as we always can have “challenging” moments in our day when our Mindfulness or Inner Peace gets “tested”. Then, it will be the Art to try to keep Being in your Inner Peace space and Mindfulness and not let the challenges come to you or taking over your Inner Peace.

It definitely requires practice, as I noticed myself, but I Do feel when you Create the Intention to bring your Yoga Feeling, that you have established in your morning practice, into the rest of your day, it can change So much within your own Inner Peace, your Mood, your Reflection towards other people and your own Inner Happiness! And it definitely helps with fighting Stress, Anxiety and Depression!

I learned that Yoga is, indeed, so much more than the physical practice On the mat. And I’m so Happy and Grateful that I learned that about Yoga. I also learned that the Intention of wanting to practice Yoga should not be Just the intention to practice it for your Physical development only but Also for the Total development within your own Spirituality, Compassion, Self Love, Unconditional Love and Mindfulness.

I’ve seen this documentary on Gaia.com which is kind of the Netflix for Spirituality and Consciousness. Lots of videos, short films, documentaries, Series, but also practices for Yoga, Meditation and Pilates. I definitely can recommend this channel to you as there is so much knowledge shared about different subjects within Spirituality, Consciousness and Mindfulness.

You have the Key to Happiness!

You might recognise it when I say that a lot of people look for Happiness everywhere But within  themselves.

Actually it’s You, your Self, where Happiness can be found. True, Infinite Happiness you will never find just “out there”, like through others, through things, your work…… As long as you Don’t. Feel Happiness within Your Self, you will never be Truly Happy, in an Infinite way.

We all look for Happiness as who doesn’t want to Feel Happy and Alive?! But why is it sometimes so hard to find? Where do I look and what do I need to do?

Happiness is within You.

Happiness is a Peace of Mind, Feeling Tranquil, No Stress, No Worries, No Anxiety. And all these things are within You. So All the things that Don’t belong there and ‘block’ the way to your Happiness, you need to get rid of. And the sooner the better!

It’s not just that Stress, Worries, Anxiety, Fear are in your way of your Happiness Experience, it can also make your Body become ill. As all of those mentioned are Negative Vibrations, Negative Energies. And you surely will understand that Happiness ( Positive Vibes and Energy ) doesn’t go hand in hand with Negative Vibes and Energies.

So to be Truly Happy within your Relationships, in your Work, in your Environment, with your Friends etc you First need to Create Happiness within Your Self. And how do you do that?

You might have tried to Be and Feel “Happy” before. But where did you try to get it from? Be honest to yourself now. Did you Really try to Create this from Within Your Self or did you find more Satisfaction ( temporary happiness ) through other people, a new relationship, a new job, buying things you always wanted to have?

Because If you are not Happy within your Relationship or your Job for example…..is it then Really the Relationship or Job…..or are you not Happy within Your Self? It can work in strange ways, but when you are not Truly Happy within Your Self, a lot of things around you, like a Relationship or Job might seem not a Happy place to be anymore either. As it’s not really Objective anymore.

When you Are truly Happy within Your Self and still not like your Job or feeling not good about your Relationship it’s from another Perspective. As then it’s not really about Happiness anymore but other Factors and Reasons you can see more Clearly as it’s not the Happiness that’s on your way. You start to get a bit what I try to explain here to you?

So to find True Happiness within Your Self (again) it’s important to deal with Factors like Stress, Anxiety, Worries and Fear. Replace them for Inner Peace, Balance and Mindfulness. See You and Love Your Self! Truly Love Your Self!

Go out more in Nature or do other activities that Relaxing You, have you tried Meditation or Yoga? A great way, And combination, to get your Body and Mind back in Balance again. Be Creative, draw, paint, read, start knitting, start exercising ( this releases a lot of stress and anxiety as well ) use Positive Affirmations ( Very Powerful! )…..Find something that Works for You to get rid of Stress, Worries, Anxiety and Fear.

Once you are more Balanced, Peaceful and Tranquil within Your Self you will See things around you more Objective and will Help you to make Better Decisions in Any area of your Life.

You Deserve it to Be Happy! So work on it! Don’t wait till tomorrow, Start Now!

The Great Benefit of Yoga

I discovered Yoga already a while ago as a very beneficial tool for bringing your Body and Mind in total Balance.
Though before that time I always thought Yoga was a bit boring to practice and lots of exercises and positions hard to do.

But once I started to try it out,  also because it goes very well in combination with Meditation I experienced it was not so bad at all!

When you start with Yoga you are of course not be able to do the Acrobatic positions straight away,  and to be honest,  I’m still not there yet, still not experienced enough to do them ;-).
Starting off with the Basic positions is already great to Feel and recognize the difference for your Body and Mind.

For me, the best time of the day to practice Yoga is early Morning. It gives you Such a high amount of Energy afterwards what will support you through the day.
Yoga is for me also a kind of Meditation on its own as you focus on the exercises, positions and your breathing which automatically helps to relax and ease the Mind.

Many people still think that Yoga ( with just the basic positions) won’t improve your Body in a muscular way like with a lot of other sports. But actually it does!
The whole combination of your Breathing and the Exercises helps to remove toxins from your Body. And when toxins are being removed from your Body it benefits not only your Health but also contributes with Weight loss. It’s also a very good exercise to get rid of Cellulite! Also again because of getting rid of the toxins in your Body.

When you feel stressed or have a lot of things on your Mind it’s a great solution to use Yoga, and even better in combination with Meditation, to calm your Mind. When your Mind is on ease without tension and worries you will feel Physically much better as well. As you might know, stress and worries really drains your Energy what of course has a huge effect on your Body.

Important also is to drink a glass of light warm water before you start with Yoga and drink much water afterwards through the day, also to keep working on removing those toxins.

When you for example practice Yoga early morning and do a Meditation before you go to bed you keep your Body and Mind in perfect Balance. The Yoga is a great start of the Day as it provides you enough Energy throughout the Day and help you start the Day with a Fresh, Clear Mind and the Meditation at Night will help you to clear out your Mind from everything through the Day again so you can prepare for a good night sleep ( without having all these thoughts and stress still running through your mind which can cause a restless night or even insomnia ).

So when you are looking for more Balance and Peace in your Body and Mind,  Yoga and Meditation are very Powerful and Beneficial.
