Choose your Self to Heal your Self

Most likely we all experienced this to a certain extent, living towards other’s expectations.

But does living towards other’s expectations or satisfying others makes You happy? No, it doesn’t.

It doesn’t make you happy, as you can’t live your True Self when you always try to satisfy others.

Actually it gives you inner stress and frustration, even though you might sometimes think it doesn’t. As you might not always be aware of it. It only comes to the surface now and then, when you try to think or analize why you feel this way.

The only way to Heal your Self is to choose for your Self, to choose for You, and what You want, and How you want things in your life.

Otherwise basically other people are controlling Your life. And you don’t have to allow that, you Should not allow that.

People Pleasing will never give You any satisfaction or the True Happiness you want in life. People Pleasing is exhausting! It exhausts your Soul as you give, and give and give. Your Soul gets drained, and then you start to feel it in your Physical as well.

If you recognise this, then start to choose for You. As you know perfectly well what is right for you, and what You want. You don’t need other people to tell you that.

Start to Heal your Self, choose for You and make You priority in Your life!

Letting Go is Healing

How often do you hold on to things, for too long, and later on realise that it’s only causing you more harm, stress and anxiety than needed? We’ve all been there and it’s not always easy to deal with.

Though “Letting Go” is a very important part when it comes to Healing. When you hold on to for example Anger, Sadness, Doubt, Fear, Insecurity, Jealousy and Stress, it creates stress and anxiety not only in your physical body but also in your energetic body.

Maybe you already are aware of the fact that illnesses are created in your energetic body first, before they hit the physical body. So if we hold on too much and too long of negative energies that basically don’t really serve us well, we can create physical issues.

Once it reached the physical body, it’s much harder to clear and cleanse the negative energies as then it needs to be removed from the physical body first and then throught the energetic body. So we do ourselves well by releasing these negative energies as soon as possible, so Before it hits our physical body.

Letting Go is basically accepting and not giving it anymore attention or energy so you don’t “feed” the negative energies, but basically let them desolve and replace for positive energies.

Not giving attention to it anymore can already be done by not keeping it in your mind any longer, as our Mind can create strong energies within ourselves and body, either negative or positive. So what would you prefer to set your intentions to? Don’t underestimate the Power of the Mind.

Using Positive Affirmations do really help to change your Mindset into a more Positive Mindset, and so does Meditation and sessions of Energy Healing or even Hypno Therapy.

Holding on too much stress and anxiety can literally make you physically ill, and it’s not worth it. You can’t change the Past and you don’t know yet what the Future will bring, so if you are able to live in The Now then there is no space for stress and anxiety as this mainly exists from worries and fear.

Use your internal power to Heal your Self by Letting Go of situations you can’t control, or situations that no longer serve you, or people that no longer should be in your life.

Letting Go is Healing your Self, Letting Go is taking control over your own Life and not let Life, people or situations control You.

Can you still keep up with this Life and Society?

Embrace all that Nature and the Universe provides us with, me might have forgotten how to use it all, but it’s still there…….

In this time and age of fast speed living, having a lot of things already done for us, pre-made to make things quick and easy for us, we often forget that we can get so much more out of Life.

Basically Nature provides us with everything we need, but we are too disconnected from a lot where our ancestors were connected to. And all this speed and fast pace living doesn’t always give us the best benefits of it all.

Our ancestors used all that Nature provides and gave their blessings for using it, being Grateful and showing Respect. In general who these days is really Grateful for what is provided to us? And what do we use with Respect and give our Blessings back to it?

It’s a shame that we became so disconnected as it gave us a lot of things that are not so beneficial for us or our health. We deal on a daily basis with stress, anxiety, depression, loneliness, fear and mental health in total and always feeling the pressure of society to be successful and to achieve something in our life.

Why do we make it so hard on ourselves? As it’s not even that difficult to make a change that can make us more happy and healthy, we just need to start to take time for a bit more self reflection…..

Take a moment for yourself and ask yourself, “Am I truly satisfied with my life?”, “Do I feel truly happy within myself?”, “Do I feel inner peace?”, “Do I really love the job I’m doing?”, “Do I really look after myself?”, “Am I free of stress, anxiety and depression?”

Most people will have at least one question that will get the answer “no”. And then ask yourself “why?”. What is the reason why you don’t feel truly happy, or that you don’t really look after yourself that well, or that you struggle through life because of stress, anxiety and depression?

And basically, it’s not Society that makes us who we are and what we do….it’s Us, ourselves who decide to join this fast paced treadmill and living the life how we live it at the moment. We always have the choice to make better changes for ourselves, so why don’t we?

It’s shocking to hear and read about so many young kids, or young adults, who commit suicide because they are struggling so much with the pressure of life, society and the expectations that are out there. Pressure from Social Media as you need to show off how successful you are or how perfect you look…….. Do you already have that new hairstyle or clothes from that amazing brand? Do you spend hours on your make-up as you need to look like everyone else does? How many likes to do You get on your social media posts?

Again, it’s not Society, it’s all of us Creating this society.

If everyone, every single individual, would decide that this fast paced life, full of stress, pressure and expectations is no longer acceptable, because it’s causing us more harm than good, especially on our physical and mental health, Society would change. Our life would change, people would change and yes then it would become a definite better World.

Going back to “the basics” is not only releasing us from a lot of stress and anxiety and other physical and mental health problems, it will make us more compassionate again towards each other, as we will feel the need to help out each other more, it will make us appreciate more what is in our surroundings and what is Really important in Life.

See what life brings us as how it is at this very moment……..do you Really Feel that life brings us so much good? Look around you……people don’t communicate, don’t even look at each other as people are hypnotised by their mobile devices, and what are they spending their time on? Time is so precious…..why spending so much time on Social Media and devices while we can go out there, explore the world, being adventurous!

There are So many other things we can spend our time on, as time that is gone won’t come back……do you realise that sometimes? If tomorrow were your last day, can you look back on your life and honestly say you have done a lot of things with your life, important things, fun things, gained great experiences, met lovely people and shared time with them, helping and supporting others, seen the world around you?

Or have you filled most part of your life feeling under pressure, stressed, runned down, being in a job you don’t like and being on social media all day sharing selfies and the only communication you have with people and your “friends” is over text messages and liking peoples posts?

Social Media can be good if it’s used for the right things, but when we over-use it for things that are not important and create anxiety and depression to a lot of people, it might be time to think what we are really doing here and what we do to ourselves, our society and our children, who are growing up with this kind of stress and pressure.

Some might feel that “back to basics” is old fashion, or boring even, but is it?

If you feel resonated with things in this article, then maybe it IS time for a change, for yourself, but also to make a start in changing Society.

Explore the world, sniff in the smells of Nature, meet up with your friends for a coffee, meal or drinks and have an actual personal conversation, be true friends, support them if they need help. When was the last time you picked up the phone and asked a friend how he/she is doing, instead of asking it over text? Do you remember your friend’s birthday actually or is it only because Facebook reminds you of it?

Changing society is not gonna happen overnight, but if we all put our effort in it and start living life in a normal way, with each other and for each other, it will slowly take a positive turn. And I’m convinced that it will make more people happy and that there will be less physical and mental health issues.

We need to set a good example for each other, for our children, as we need to pave the right path for them, so they can live a life away from all the issues we are living with today and living a better life.

Healing Facts of Herbs

Still a lot of people wonder if Herbs and Spices are actually working. I can say from my personal experience, “yes they do work”. It’s been since ages ago that the healing properties of herbs are written in texts and documents, and Herbalists these days study and research this to get the best healing benefits from it and to be able to help people in the best tailored way.

Herbs strengthen digestion:  

Most chronic disease starts with poor digestion. Many culinairy herbs have been used for thousands of years, not only for the good taste but also to help with digestion. More than often people have had poor digestion for so long that they assume it’s a natural part of life. Herbs and spices can help strengthen the digestion and often people experience that other complaints disappear.

The following symptoms are related with poor digestion: bloating, gas, indigestion, heartburn, constipation, nausea, poor appetite, recurring diarrhea and ulcers.

Digestion

Herbs are high in anti-oxidants: 

Anti-oxidants are an important key to limiting the damage done to the body by oxidative stress, which has been linked to heart disease, liver problems, arthritis, premature skin ageing and eye damage. It occurs when the body is overloaded with free radicals. The formation of free radicals is a natural part of living but can be dramatically increased by stress, eating processed foods, consuming overheated oils, breathing air pollutants or cigarette smoke, being sleep deprived or eat charred meats. To minimise oxidative stress, it’s important to limit these negative influences and regularly include high anti-oxidant foods, such as Herbs and Spices in your meals.

We live in quite a stressed culture, people are always “busy” when you ask them how they are doing. Excessive stress is so common these days that it almost seems “normal” to start your day with little sleep and be rushed, overworked and overcommitted. Pharmaceutical antibiotics act by wiping out all bacteria, even the beneficial ones. Antibiotic after all means “anti-life”.

Spices can be strongly anti microbial without being “anti-life”, instead of “knocking out” everyting they come in contact with, plants can be chosen for the specific type of infection. Plants can also be very effective against viruses and fungal infections. Herbs can go beyond simply “killing” a pathogen and also support the ecosystem of the body, they can restore integrity to mucous membranes and support healthy gut flora.

Foods in relation to Anxiety and Depression

You probably have heard before about High Vibrational Foods and Low Vibrational Foods. Even though we “know” that High Vibrational Foods are far much better for us, in so many ways, we still seem to attract more to Low Vibrational Foods.

High Vibrational Foods are not only good for our Physical body, but even more so for our Mental state of health as well. It’s not always what you think about this is related to each other, but it actually is.

Low Vibrational Foods give us most of the time a temporary “kick” like sugars do, but also coffee and tea. Though Coffee and Tea are a bit in the middle frequency between Low and High Vibrational foods. But for example, Coffee and Tea cause less harm in winter time as it helps to use warm up the body and will be processed by the body in a different way than in Summer.

Processed foods are of course definitely Low Vibrational Foods, though some processed foods cause less harm than other processed foods. Processed foods contain a lot of chemicals which are simply not good for our Physical body but also not for our Mental health.

Cells in our body renew all the time. When taking in High Vibrational Foods the body actually heals itself in many ways. But when taking in the Low Vibrational Foods we actually put things in our Body and System which can cause disease and the body is not able to heal itself how it should do.

High Vibrational Foods are good for Body and Mind, while Low (or middle vibrational) Foods are maybe partly good for your body, or not good at all, but definitely not beneficial for our Mental Health. It makes our Mind over-active which is causing Over-thinking, Worrying which results in Anxiety and Depression. Hight Vibrational Foods actually calms down the Mind as it brings the Body and Mind in a Higher form of Consciousness.

So when you change your diet in more High Vibrational Foods and combine this with Meditation, this can be Very affective in cases of Anxiety and Depression.

You probably have heard of the phrase “You are what you eat”, and this is how it is. And this is not just based on the Physical body as a lot of people might think, but it is based on your entire system of Body and Mind.

Especially in a society where we live in now, it is even More important to watch what we consume, as Life on it’s own already can cause a lot of Stress and situations can cause Anxiety and Depression. But the more we Care for our Self, the more we are Aware of what we consume, the Better and Easier our body is able to fight agains diseases and unhealthy cells in our Body and System, it will recover quicker but also will prevent certain diseases.

To get a bit of an understanding between High and Low Vibrational Foods, I list them down for you here:

High Vibrational Foods:

Fresh, certified organic fruits and vegetables

Natural supplements, like spirulina

Herbal Teas

Herbs and spices

Pure or filtered water — reverse osmosis or freshly collected spring water are the best choices

Healthy oils, like olive oil and coconut oil

Nuts and seeds

Fermented foods

Raw chocolate

Raw honey and maple syrup

Legumes

Grains such as buckwheat, brown rice, amaranth, and spelt

Low Vibrations Foods:

Genetically modified (GMO) food, and conventional food that’s been treated with chemicals and pesticides

White rice and flours

Sugars, sweeteners (artificial etc.)

Coffee / Tea (which both contains caffeine)

Sodas

Alcohol

Meat, fish and poultry

Processed, packaged, canned and fast foods (though some are less harmful, like fresh frozen, or fresh fruit on water but see if there is no added sugar in there)

Unhealthy oils, like canola, cottonseed, margarine, and vegetable oils

Frozen foods (when not fresh frozen)

Pasteurized cows milk, yogurt and cheese

Cooked foods, deep fried foods and microwaving food

When you want to Heal your body from toxins and chemicals, what you might have taken in for a long time, it is very recommended to detox your Body and Mind from this by starting taking in High Vibrational Foods, drink lots of Pure Water (without fluoride in it) and start to Feel a difference within your Self, on a Physical Level and on a Mental Level.

In the beginning it might be very hard to make this change, and to leave out all the “tasty” bad foods, but once your Body and Mind get used to this new diet, you will notice that you will have less and less “graving” for Low Vibrational Foods. You will feel more Energetic and more Alive, more Healthy and you will recognise that minor Health issues you might have will disappear.

You Naturally start to Feel and Recognise within your Body and Mind what is good for you and what not. Your Body and Mind will “tell” you.
