I Am…….A Beautiful Soul, just like You

Unfortunately there are still many people out there who judge others on their outher appearance like the Looks, race, skin colour, disability etc. It is actually a shame if you think about the fact we are All Human and actually All the same.

No one chooses to be born Black or White, born “ugly” (whatever ugly means for some people) or born with a disability. But, some how, a lot of people still see a difference between themselves and some other people. You probably have heard about a quote before that says sort of ” if we could just see someone’s Soul instead of their Human appearance, how different would the World be”. And this is so true.

Do you sometimes wonder why a homeless person became homeless? What is his or her story behind it all? Or do you just judge a homeless person on what you Think you See? Do you sometimes wonder what a person with a disability thinks or feels, did you ever asked? What makes you decide when a person is “ugly” or “beautiful”?

Do you Judge without wondering why or what?

What you See is not always Who a person is. Who a person is you will find way deeper into a person’s Self, in his or her Soul….that is where you find the True Self. People need to learn more to Observe and not to Judge. People need to learn more to aks questions and put interest in someone else to Really get to know them. As you might be surpised how different someone can be from what you thought of them in the first place.

Judging people at first sight is always easy. You make a statement and so it is. No….it’s not the way it is, it’s the judgement you create without investigate anything. But a lot of people don’t have “time” to investigate or invest in other people to find out Who they really are. And that’s Such a shame!!

Do you realize that people with other skin colours, a different race or religion or born with a disability are as equal Human as you are? They have a Soul as well, just like you. They have the same daily issues just like you or sometimes even worse. They also have families they love and care for, just like you. They also try to live their lives in the best way they can, just like you. So….where is the difference?

People who were born healthy but had the bad experience of an accident or an illness which effected their lives and relationships are still the same Soul as they used to be. Just because they might be not able to function in the same way anymore as they used to be doesn’t make them a different person in terms of a Beautiful Soul. Of course it might effect them as a human being but deep down they are still the same person as they used to be.

We can learn So much from the Animal Kingdom as they don’t See any difference. Did you ever watched a video where 2 or more different animals playing together or care for eachother? How Beautiful is that?!

I See You……we all know the saying from the movie Avatar. And that’s exactly how we should look at eachother. I See You means, I look beyond your outher appearance and See the Beauty within You, I recognize You….as an Equal Soul just like I am.

Do we need to Be Perfect?

quote-on-being-imperfect

What is Perfection? Who decides what is Perfect and what is not? Do we really Need to be Perfect? Do YOU feel you Need to be Perfect?

These days the Feeling to be Perfect is highly present with a lot of people these days.
People “need” to be Perfect within their Job, they need to be the Perfect Husband or Wife, the Perfect Father or Mother as these days it seems people expect you to be Perfect.

Perfection comes with Looks and Status as it’s obviously Very important how you Look, what kind of clothes you wear, what kind of car you drive, what kind of house you live in…..but brings Perfection also True Happiness?
Of course, money makes life very easy to achieve some things but behind the scenes, are these people truly happy?
Do these people Really what they like doing? Do these people Really live their Dream?

Are you someone who “needs” to Be Perfect? How does it make you feel? Or would you rather be a bit less Perfect but more Happy?

To find out of you fit in the picture of the “need to be Perfect” you can read the following checklist:

  1. Are you scared to make Mistakes?
  2. Do you recognize Performance Anxiety within yourself?
  3. Do you always try to look at your best, fancy to show off towards others?
  4. Do you always try to emphasize your credibility?
  5. Are you always unhappy with the results when you have done something?
  6. Do you see every Relationship as a Competition?
  7. Do you always like to Do and Be better than others and try to be “the boss”?
  8. Do you always like to stay Loyal even when it goes against your own principles?
  9. Do you always like to finish your tasks as soon as possible?
  10. Do you often want to push things aside?
  11. Do you often cheat to achieve the desired results?
When you recognize most of those points within yourself you can say you want to Be Perfect.
But is it really needed?

When you struggle with being Perfect you can for example get upset and get depressed when things don’t turn out the way you would like them to turn out.
As when it doesn’t meet your requirements it can be very “hurtful” in some way and your feelings might get really upset about it.

So what can you do to change this, to Be less Perfect and in this way prevent to become upset and depressed?

Everyone has his weakness and less good sides of character. When we have unrealistic expectations from ourselves and others then we can’t do anything else than become dissapointed and fail in our work and relationships with others.

It’s important to see our mistakes and faults as lessons which we can learn from and grow further in our Personal Development or Self Improvement.
Mistakes are a part of our Path, our Journey and our Learning and Growing Proces.
Remember, even when you do something that doesn’t work out right you Are still Good Enough ;-). Only if it would be just for trying in the first place.

When you try to avoid making mistakes this also means you exclude yourself or close yourself for new opportunities.
Without trying you deny yourself from new experiences, knowledge or chances.
And That would be a huge mistake, wouldn’t it? ;-)

Throw your feeling of “Need to be Perfect”, especially towards the outher World, over board and listen more to your Inner Feeling.
This Inner Feeling knows exactly what you Want and what you Need.

Remember this…… it’s often the little imperfections that makes people looking Beautiful and Outstanding :-)

You are a Gift to the World

image

The title inspired me by the book of Thitch Nhat Hanh, as it is so true….. We are All a Gift to the World.

As we are All Unique Beings and Unique Souls we All have our own way of contribution to the World. We All have our own Skills which we can use for several different purposes, we decide what we do with it and how we use them.

You don’t have to be particularly Spiritual to Be a Gift to the World as it doesn’t matter Who you are or What you do or what your Believes are.
More important is How you Live your Life.

We all need to Learn and Experience in Life and this goes through good and less good times. I won’t say bad times as nothing is really bad as long you can learn from it. And you do learn from every situation. When you didn’t learn something out of it, a similar situation might cross your Path again ;-).

Even with our ‘Mistakes’ and ‘Bad’ Choices we are still a Gift to the World as there is Always something or someone in your Life you do or did something good for. Even when others just learned from you, through a situation for example, in a good or less good way, you still then made a contribution ;-).

It’s maybe hard for some people to believe that even the most ‘bad’ or ‘criminal’ people also contribute but in a different way, maybe not always acceptable by us, but still we learn from them, for example ‘how things are not right or meant to be doing’. Everyone is on his/her own Path and we might never know what others need to learn in Life, so we can never judge, not even towards ‘bad people’. They might have some old Karma to deal with ;-).

Like Buddha said ‘You can be an Observer but never a Judge’.
No matter how hard it is sometimes is, but it’s a part of Universal Law.

Just know we are All a Gift to the World, All in our own way and under different circumstances and through different experiences.
When you can Open Up for that statement you are able to Learn and Understand a lot, which helps you grow within your Consciousness and Enlightenment as well :-).
