Reiki Healing in different ways

Reiki is a bridge between the ancient traditions of healing and the modern day scientific model.

During a Reiki session, the practitioner places their hands on or just above a client’s body and conducts universal energy from their arms, and out through their hands where it flows into the clients’ body.

Every cell in our body and every atom in the Universe is in a constant state of Vibration. The tendency for two objects (in this case the practitioner and the client) is to lock into phase so that they vibrate in harmony. In most cases, the weaker of the two oscillating objects will have a tendency to adjust to the stronger vibration, which is Reiki Energy.

What sets Reiki apart from other forms of Touch Therapy?

The attunements that the Practitioner receives from a Reiki Master. These attunements open the channels in an individual, so they are in direct contact with Universal Life Force. After an attunement, these channels are open forever. Reiki helps the Practitioner make the Connection. Like turning on a lamp, all the Practitioner needs to do to activate the Energy is to place their hands on themselves or others, or visualize doing so (in case of long distance healing)

How does the body use Reiki Energy?

When a body receives Reiki Energy, it is like a light to make the body aware of the energy that is not serving it. The Practitioner does not decide what needs to be released or when, the wisdom of the body does. The Practitioner holds the space for the bodymind to see the possibilities it can choose from with regard to healing so the body is no longer tied to a dysfunctional way of being. Once the body has chosen what it is ready to address, it can systematically release the stored energy at a cellular level connected with the imbalance. The cells then begin functioning as intended and the healing occurs on a physical as well as emotional, mental and physical level. With the body vibrating at a more natural state, harmony and peace on all levels can be restored. Reiki goes to the place in the body that is imbalanced and requires Healing.

What are Chakras and what effect has Reiki Healing on them?

Chakra means “spinning wheel of energy” or “energy centre” in Sanskrit. Each of these centres is associated with specific organs, endocrines, issues, emotions, colors and elements. Balancing these centres can have a Physical, Emotional and Spiritual effect on an individual. In a Reiki session you will not only be balancing Physical aspects in the client’s body but also their Energetic centers. By balancing these centers, the Physical body will also be addressed as every Chakra is connected to certain organs and body parts. So if a certain Chakra is blocked or doesn’t “spin” well this can have effect on your physical body and you can experience physical issues.

Reactions that may occur are Emotional response, Feeling heat or cold, Seeing colours or lights, Involuntary movements like twitching, Stomach rumbling or Falling asleep. 

Reiki and Pregnancy, Babies and Children:

Reiki is safe and can be very beneficial for a pregnant woman and her child.

Reiki can be performed on children from the time they are born. Most children are very sensitive to energy and love the sensation! With each session, children become more familiar with the energy and may even be able to tell you when they feel things shifting. Reiki is also a wonderful way to connect with children who are non-verbal.

Reiki can help ensure that the grieving process is flowing and that emotions are being processed and released rather than resisted and stored.

Reiki on a distance:

To receive Reiki Healing on a distance is just as effective as receiving Reiki Healing through hands-on. With Reiki it’s all about the intention where you want the Energy to go to and to whom. Often there will be used a photo and full name of the recipient. The Practitioner can use the Reiki Symbols to make the Reiki sessions more powerful. Reiki on a distance is perfect for long distances or if a client is not able to attend the Reiki session in person.

Can you still keep up with this Life and Society?

Embrace all that Nature and the Universe provides us with, me might have forgotten how to use it all, but it’s still there…….

In this time and age of fast speed living, having a lot of things already done for us, pre-made to make things quick and easy for us, we often forget that we can get so much more out of Life.

Basically Nature provides us with everything we need, but we are too disconnected from a lot where our ancestors were connected to. And all this speed and fast pace living doesn’t always give us the best benefits of it all.

Our ancestors used all that Nature provides and gave their blessings for using it, being Grateful and showing Respect. In general who these days is really Grateful for what is provided to us? And what do we use with Respect and give our Blessings back to it?

It’s a shame that we became so disconnected as it gave us a lot of things that are not so beneficial for us or our health. We deal on a daily basis with stress, anxiety, depression, loneliness, fear and mental health in total and always feeling the pressure of society to be successful and to achieve something in our life.

Why do we make it so hard on ourselves? As it’s not even that difficult to make a change that can make us more happy and healthy, we just need to start to take time for a bit more self reflection…..

Take a moment for yourself and ask yourself, “Am I truly satisfied with my life?”, “Do I feel truly happy within myself?”, “Do I feel inner peace?”, “Do I really love the job I’m doing?”, “Do I really look after myself?”, “Am I free of stress, anxiety and depression?”

Most people will have at least one question that will get the answer “no”. And then ask yourself “why?”. What is the reason why you don’t feel truly happy, or that you don’t really look after yourself that well, or that you struggle through life because of stress, anxiety and depression?

And basically, it’s not Society that makes us who we are and what we do….it’s Us, ourselves who decide to join this fast paced treadmill and living the life how we live it at the moment. We always have the choice to make better changes for ourselves, so why don’t we?

It’s shocking to hear and read about so many young kids, or young adults, who commit suicide because they are struggling so much with the pressure of life, society and the expectations that are out there. Pressure from Social Media as you need to show off how successful you are or how perfect you look…….. Do you already have that new hairstyle or clothes from that amazing brand? Do you spend hours on your make-up as you need to look like everyone else does? How many likes to do You get on your social media posts?

Again, it’s not Society, it’s all of us Creating this society.

If everyone, every single individual, would decide that this fast paced life, full of stress, pressure and expectations is no longer acceptable, because it’s causing us more harm than good, especially on our physical and mental health, Society would change. Our life would change, people would change and yes then it would become a definite better World.

Going back to “the basics” is not only releasing us from a lot of stress and anxiety and other physical and mental health problems, it will make us more compassionate again towards each other, as we will feel the need to help out each other more, it will make us appreciate more what is in our surroundings and what is Really important in Life.

See what life brings us as how it is at this very moment……..do you Really Feel that life brings us so much good? Look around you……people don’t communicate, don’t even look at each other as people are hypnotised by their mobile devices, and what are they spending their time on? Time is so precious…..why spending so much time on Social Media and devices while we can go out there, explore the world, being adventurous!

There are So many other things we can spend our time on, as time that is gone won’t come back……do you realise that sometimes? If tomorrow were your last day, can you look back on your life and honestly say you have done a lot of things with your life, important things, fun things, gained great experiences, met lovely people and shared time with them, helping and supporting others, seen the world around you?

Or have you filled most part of your life feeling under pressure, stressed, runned down, being in a job you don’t like and being on social media all day sharing selfies and the only communication you have with people and your “friends” is over text messages and liking peoples posts?

Social Media can be good if it’s used for the right things, but when we over-use it for things that are not important and create anxiety and depression to a lot of people, it might be time to think what we are really doing here and what we do to ourselves, our society and our children, who are growing up with this kind of stress and pressure.

Some might feel that “back to basics” is old fashion, or boring even, but is it?

If you feel resonated with things in this article, then maybe it IS time for a change, for yourself, but also to make a start in changing Society.

Explore the world, sniff in the smells of Nature, meet up with your friends for a coffee, meal or drinks and have an actual personal conversation, be true friends, support them if they need help. When was the last time you picked up the phone and asked a friend how he/she is doing, instead of asking it over text? Do you remember your friend’s birthday actually or is it only because Facebook reminds you of it?

Changing society is not gonna happen overnight, but if we all put our effort in it and start living life in a normal way, with each other and for each other, it will slowly take a positive turn. And I’m convinced that it will make more people happy and that there will be less physical and mental health issues.

We need to set a good example for each other, for our children, as we need to pave the right path for them, so they can live a life away from all the issues we are living with today and living a better life.

Wolf Medicine

Wolf……Teacher, Pathfinder, Moon-dog of my Soul. Howling, Singing, Teaching how to know.

Wolf is the Pathfinder, the forerunner of new ideas who returns to the clan to teach and share medicine. Wolf takes one mate for Life and is loyal like a dog. If you were to keep company with Wolves, you would find an enormous sense of Family within the pack, as well as a strong individualistic urge. These qualities make Wolf very much like the Human race. As Humans we also have an ability to be a part of society and yet still embody our individual dreams and ideas.

In the Great Star Nation, Wolf is represented by the Dog Star, Sirius, which legend tells us was the original home of our teachers in ancient times. Sirius was thought to be the home of the Gods by the ancient Egyptians, and is still considered so by the Dogan tribe in Africa. It stands to reason that Native American peoples would formulate this same Connection and adopt Wolf people as the clan of teachers.

The senses of Wolf are very keen, and the Moon is its power ally. The Moon is the symbol for Psychic Energy, or the unconscious that holds the secrets of knowledge and wisdom. Baying at the Moon may be an indication of Wolf’s desire to Connect with new ideas which are just below the surface of Consciousness. Wolf medicine empowers the teacher within us all to come forth and aid the children of Earth in understanding the Great Mystery and Life.

Wolf medicine can mean for you that you may able to share your personal medicine with others. Your intuitive side may also have an answer or teaching for your personal use at this time. As you feel Wolf coming alive within you, you may wish to share your knowledge by writing or lecturing on information that will help others better understand their uniqueness or path in Life.

It is in the sharing of Great Truths that the Consciousness of Humanity will attain new heights. Wolf could also be telling you to seek out lonely places that will allow you to see your teacher within. In the aloneness of a power place, devoid of other humans, you may find the True You. Look for teachings no matter where you are.

Wolf would not come to you unless you requested the appearance of the tribe’s greatest teacher.

Fall Asleep Meditations

You want to sleep peacefully, without a mind that is in overload of processing everything from the day, without strange dreams…..just peacefully

If you are familiar with Meditations you know that there are different ways to meditate. You can meditate on just purely relaxing music or sounds, you can meditate out in nature, you can do a guided meditation but you can also do a “fall asleep” meditation.

A “fall asleep” meditation is basically a guided meditation with a kind of hypnosis in it as well. Because of the hypnosis aspects in it, the meditation and the guided voice is still working for you in your subconscious, even though you are asleep and unconscious basically.

If I had a very busy day or watched a pretty intense movie for example, I can bet on it that I will dream a lot, but then a lot of weird stuff. I won’t say nightmares but still things that don’t make sense or are confusing or leaving me with a weird feeling when I wake up in the morning.

Almost every evening I either do a meditation just before going to bed, or I do a “fall asleep” meditation while in bed and just snooze off during the meditation. And it really helps with putting my mind at ease, no weird dreaming and waking up with a much better feeling.

I find the “fall asleep” meditations basically on YouTube and my favourite channel for these meditations is called “Unlock Your Life”. They have meditations with different subjects so I’m sure you can find one that suits you best as well.

I like to say, keep on dreaming but keep it at peace!
