Heal the Mind, Heal the Body

The Body responds on the Mind’s thoughts and energy. You feed the Mind also with words and feelings. So make sure you feed your Mind with healthy thoughts and words.

You most likely have read about “what you send out you receive back”. And this goes of course in either way, good or bad. It’s not always easy to keep a positive mindset or stay away from stress and worries, as we can be challenged every day all over again.

Though it is possible to help heal your body with the right mindset, the right thoughts and the right feelings. Are you aware that everything that appears in your physical body was in your energy body first?

When negativity, like stress, worries, anxiety and negative thoughts create a negative energy field around us, but is not cleared in time, it will affect our physical body. And this can come in all kinds of physical ailments. Small issues or sometimes bigger issues when the negative energies stay for too long within us.

Basically, when we feel not well because of stress and worries, it’s actually our body who tries to tell us, warn us, there is something not right, and we have the opportunity to change our energy around it. But how can you do that?

You can calm and ease your mind with Meditation, Yoga, connect with Nature, just being still for a moment to clear your mind, but if after that you continue living with stress, worries or negative thoughts, you quickly build up the same energy vibes again. And so you keep going in a vicious cycle.

Then there is another aspect that affects your Mind, and therefor also your body, and that is the words you speak, how you pronounce your sentences. As all words you speak out, are first formed in your Mind, it’s the connection with the brain.

So it’s very important to become aware How you say things. Try to think for yourself if you recognize anything in your speaking what can be changed to a more positive way of saying it. For example, if you say “I am never ill”, then the “focus” of that sentence is on “ill”. Instead you can better say “I am always healthy”, then your put the focus on “healthy”.

It seems like small differences in how you say things, but it makes a huge difference in your Energy. As again, we know “what you send out comes back to you”.

A good way to practice saying things in a more positive way is using Affirmations, as affirmations are all focused on creating the Good and the Positive. Try it out for yourself, pay attention on how you say things, and every time you notice that you said something in the “wrong” way, then repeat what you just said, for yourself, in the “right” way, using the right, positive words.

After a while you will really start to notice the difference and how life is starting to transform for you. We are Energy and we can feed ourselves with Positive Energy or Negative Energy. The more we feed ourselves with Positive Energy, the more you heal your Body with it.

The Importance of Grounding / Earthing

I have known for a long time that Grounding and Earthing is very good for you, make contact with the Earth with bare feet. I knew it was good for your Energies, to Release the Energies you no longer need or are not good for you and to Recharge your Self with the Positive Energies of the Earth.

When I’m home I mainly walk bare foot and on a nice day I will sit outside in my front yard with bare feet in the grass to Ground my Self. But that only doesn’t seem enough to properly become Grounded and Earthed.

Grounding / Earthing

When I was living in New Zealand for a few years, on the South Island, there were a lot of people who walked bare feet on the streets. Coming from the Netherlands and never seen people do that, unless they were homeless, was a strange thing for me to see, and to do. But later on the understanding came that it was for Grounding and Earthing.

Now living in the UK I do realise that nobody really does that here either, and I’m sure people would look weird at you for walking bare foot on the streets. But actually, it should be more accepted and be normalised to do it, for our own Health benefits really.

Back in the old, old days people did not do anything else than walking bare foot, but since we started to wear shoes with artificial soles we basically became more disconnected and less grounded.

I did not know, or realised there is so much more to Grounding and Earthing. I did not know that Grounding and Earthing actually helps to release Inflammation within the Physical body. Inflammation is a cause of a lot of dis-eases and what makes our bodies ill. By reducing Inflammation and releasing it completely from our bodies, we Heal from so much illnesses.

Beside reducing and releasing Inflammation, Grounding and Earthing is also beneficial for Chronic Pain, Insomnia, Increasing Energy, Normalising Biological Rhythms, Normalising Blood Flow and Blood Pressure, Relieving Muscle Tension and Headache, Improving Menstrual and Female Hormone Symptoms, Lowering Stress, Decreasing Anxiety and Protecting the body from the effects of EMF’s ( electromotive force like voltage ).

This should be reason enough for all of us to walk more on bare foot or even at least sit outside for a while, every single day, to Ground and Earth your Self. To release all you have to release and to recharge with the energies we need to keep our bodies healthy.

Grounding and Earthing is a very important part of Self Healing, and I feel it should be taken more serious than just something “hippie” people do. As there is a true Science behind it and it’s proven Science as well.

So all I can say for my Self, and hopefully motivate You to do, is taking off our shoes more, put your bare feet on the Earth and let the Healing process begin!

Bring Yoga off the Mat!

I watched a documentary the other day and it was about Yoga and taking Yoga off the Mat. First it was a bit unclear to me how to do that and what it would exactly meant to do that. As Yoga is not just a practice or a physical exercise, it’s so much more and had such a deeper meaning than you might think.

For me, Yoga has been so far a practice to stabilise my Body and Mind in Peacefulness and Mindfulness, together with the Physical exercise aspect of it. It makes me feel good to do Yoga and it’s a great start of the day! I prefer doing Yoga in the morning, when I get up, before getting ready for my day. And Yoga is for Everyone! No matter what Age, Size, Shape, Ethnicity or Religion.

But, I learned now that Yoga does not just help you in that moment of doing the positions but that there is so much more to it! You can bring Yoga with you during your day in a way that you can reflect your Yoga into whatever you’re doing during the day or towards other people.

It’s like with Mindfulness, you bring your stabilised energies from your Body and Mind into your daily routine and keep that Feeling and Mindset during the rest of your day. I do feel it’s a process of Learning to do that, as we always can have “challenging” moments in our day when our Mindfulness or Inner Peace gets “tested”. Then, it will be the Art to try to keep Being in your Inner Peace space and Mindfulness and not let the challenges come to you or taking over your Inner Peace.

It definitely requires practice, as I noticed myself, but I Do feel when you Create the Intention to bring your Yoga Feeling, that you have established in your morning practice, into the rest of your day, it can change So much within your own Inner Peace, your Mood, your Reflection towards other people and your own Inner Happiness! And it definitely helps with fighting Stress, Anxiety and Depression!

I learned that Yoga is, indeed, so much more than the physical practice On the mat. And I’m so Happy and Grateful that I learned that about Yoga. I also learned that the Intention of wanting to practice Yoga should not be Just the intention to practice it for your Physical development only but Also for the Total development within your own Spirituality, Compassion, Self Love, Unconditional Love and Mindfulness.

I’ve seen this documentary on Gaia.com which is kind of the Netflix for Spirituality and Consciousness. Lots of videos, short films, documentaries, Series, but also practices for Yoga, Meditation and Pilates. I definitely can recommend this channel to you as there is so much knowledge shared about different subjects within Spirituality, Consciousness and Mindfulness.

Blue Monday…Really?

Blue Monday is every year on the 3rd Monday in January, as it’s claimed to be the most depressing day of the year…..

I’ll share with you now below what my thoughts are about this “special” day……
Blue Monday, 21st January 2019

I did some reading about it and some say it’s just another PR stunt like a lot of things are commercialised, rubbed into our face and brought into our society. Should this help lifting up people?

With already so much Mental Health problems among people, I feel we should bring it more into a Positive light and send people uplifting energies, quotes, words, love etc.

If I look online for pictures about Blue Monday, they are all quite depressing, instead having pictures that will lift people up!

It seems Mental Health charities have often Rejected the term “Blue Monday” arguing it trivialises those who Are actually suffering from Depression, and I agree! Why rubbing it even more in our face and almost “make” us feel down “because it’s Blue Monday”.

For me, Blue Monday is a day to support the people with Mental Health problems, to shine my light towards others with Positivity and Motivation!

If you know someone around you who suffers with their Mental Health already, Be ther for them, Support them, and try to bring some Sunlight in their day. Smile randomly to people ( it can make a big difference in someone’s day and life ), share the Positivity to make this Blue Monday a Sunny Blue Monday!

Letting Go is Healing

How often do you hold on to things, for too long, and later on realise that it’s only causing you more harm, stress and anxiety than needed? We’ve all been there and it’s not always easy to deal with.

Though “Letting Go” is a very important part when it comes to Healing. When you hold on to for example Anger, Sadness, Doubt, Fear, Insecurity, Jealousy and Stress, it creates stress and anxiety not only in your physical body but also in your energetic body.

Maybe you already are aware of the fact that illnesses are created in your energetic body first, before they hit the physical body. So if we hold on too much and too long of negative energies that basically don’t really serve us well, we can create physical issues.

Once it reached the physical body, it’s much harder to clear and cleanse the negative energies as then it needs to be removed from the physical body first and then throught the energetic body. So we do ourselves well by releasing these negative energies as soon as possible, so Before it hits our physical body.

Letting Go is basically accepting and not giving it anymore attention or energy so you don’t “feed” the negative energies, but basically let them desolve and replace for positive energies.

Not giving attention to it anymore can already be done by not keeping it in your mind any longer, as our Mind can create strong energies within ourselves and body, either negative or positive. So what would you prefer to set your intentions to? Don’t underestimate the Power of the Mind.

Using Positive Affirmations do really help to change your Mindset into a more Positive Mindset, and so does Meditation and sessions of Energy Healing or even Hypno Therapy.

Holding on too much stress and anxiety can literally make you physically ill, and it’s not worth it. You can’t change the Past and you don’t know yet what the Future will bring, so if you are able to live in The Now then there is no space for stress and anxiety as this mainly exists from worries and fear.

Use your internal power to Heal your Self by Letting Go of situations you can’t control, or situations that no longer serve you, or people that no longer should be in your life.

Letting Go is Healing your Self, Letting Go is taking control over your own Life and not let Life, people or situations control You.
