50 Shades of Green; the attraction to Pure Nature, by Jon Duke

Jon’s View From The Ground

Is it just me? I think it was Ronan Keating that life is a roller coaster and, wow, how true is that. One minute, feeling liberated, energised, and connected to all that is around me; the next minute weighed down by pressure and self expectations, flat and completely lost.

I’ve even taken to pumping my body with all kinds of ‘natural’ stuff – fish oil, apple cider vinegar, and kelp tablets. I’ve even tried turmeric tablets. They are apparently good for your digestion. Maybe, but the knock on effect was crippling stomach cramps and a stinky car (after holding in a lot of discomfort at work). So, I’m stick to 3 varieties but, who knows, I might Heinz it and go for 57.

I’m told by those in touch with their high selves – as I remain at ground base – that their are a…

New Energies Arriving: Message from the Pleiadian High Council

New Energies arriving; Stay Grounded

Living Life in Between

Greetings and welcome. We have come to inform you of the new energies infiltrating Earth’s atmosphere at this very moment. The energies are streaming in from the cosmos from a sector millions of light years away. This energy is disrupting the balance of Earth’s energies and initiating changes in many of its residents. This is not a bad or good energy and acts to activate and resolve the inner residual energy patterns of those transitioning during this time.

What you will notice is a strong heart center energy that appears to expand and condense, at times seeming to pull apart inside your physical body. This is due to the new energies and your physical body’s adjustment to them. Visual and auditory fluctuations may accompany the acclimation and integration process, so do not fear if you notice sudden changes in either of these perceptions. Brain activity will increase and be modified…

Jon’s View From The Ground

“When I’m feeling sad, I simply remember my favourite things, And then I don’t feel so bad”. An interesting line in a song from the Sound Of Music. At this point I am tempted to analyse whether raindrops on roses, whiskers on kittens, and, definitely, bright copper kettles, really are a few of someone’s favourite things. Bright copper kettles? Really?  But then, of course, we should not judge what someone else likes.

Anyway, welcome to another View From The Ground blog.  As I seem to say a lot these days, it’s been a while. I hope the world is treating you well and, of equal importance, you are treating the world well. Are you recycling everything that you can? Do you take your own bags when you go to the supermarket? Do you walk rather than drive as often as possible? Just a few thoughts…

Following World Autism Awareness Week, I would like to share this moving blog by my friend Gaby, a brave and beautiful soul who contacted me to ask if I would share information about the week, not knowing that I have people close to me with Aspergers, so it is a topic that matters to me.

Nor did she know that I have lost two super bright, proud, handsome friends, who hid their Mental Health issues from those of us that loved them and certainly wouldn’t have judged them.  I know what grief feels like and can’t begin to imagine her pain at losing her brother or her bravery at writing this piece.

There is still so much stigma around mental health in general.  I don’t have the answers.  We as individuals are…
