Choose your Self to Heal your Self

Most likely we all experienced this to a certain extent, living towards other’s expectations.

But does living towards other’s expectations or satisfying others makes You happy? No, it doesn’t.

It doesn’t make you happy, as you can’t live your True Self when you always try to satisfy others.

Actually it gives you inner stress and frustration, even though you might sometimes think it doesn’t. As you might not always be aware of it. It only comes to the surface now and then, when you try to think or analize why you feel this way.

The only way to Heal your Self is to choose for your Self, to choose for You, and what You want, and How you want things in your life.

Otherwise basically other people are controlling Your life. And you don’t have to allow that, you Should not allow that.

People Pleasing will never give You any satisfaction or the True Happiness you want in life. People Pleasing is exhausting! It exhausts your Soul as you give, and give and give. Your Soul gets drained, and then you start to feel it in your Physical as well.

If you recognise this, then start to choose for You. As you know perfectly well what is right for you, and what You want. You don’t need other people to tell you that.

Start to Heal your Self, choose for You and make You priority in Your life!

Blue Monday…Really?

Blue Monday is every year on the 3rd Monday in January, as it’s claimed to be the most depressing day of the year…..

I’ll share with you now below what my thoughts are about this “special” day……
Blue Monday, 21st January 2019

I did some reading about it and some say it’s just another PR stunt like a lot of things are commercialised, rubbed into our face and brought into our society. Should this help lifting up people?

With already so much Mental Health problems among people, I feel we should bring it more into a Positive light and send people uplifting energies, quotes, words, love etc.

If I look online for pictures about Blue Monday, they are all quite depressing, instead having pictures that will lift people up!

It seems Mental Health charities have often Rejected the term “Blue Monday” arguing it trivialises those who Are actually suffering from Depression, and I agree! Why rubbing it even more in our face and almost “make” us feel down “because it’s Blue Monday”.

For me, Blue Monday is a day to support the people with Mental Health problems, to shine my light towards others with Positivity and Motivation!

If you know someone around you who suffers with their Mental Health already, Be ther for them, Support them, and try to bring some Sunlight in their day. Smile randomly to people ( it can make a big difference in someone’s day and life ), share the Positivity to make this Blue Monday a Sunny Blue Monday!

Letting Go is Healing

How often do you hold on to things, for too long, and later on realise that it’s only causing you more harm, stress and anxiety than needed? We’ve all been there and it’s not always easy to deal with.

Though “Letting Go” is a very important part when it comes to Healing. When you hold on to for example Anger, Sadness, Doubt, Fear, Insecurity, Jealousy and Stress, it creates stress and anxiety not only in your physical body but also in your energetic body.

Maybe you already are aware of the fact that illnesses are created in your energetic body first, before they hit the physical body. So if we hold on too much and too long of negative energies that basically don’t really serve us well, we can create physical issues.

Once it reached the physical body, it’s much harder to clear and cleanse the negative energies as then it needs to be removed from the physical body first and then throught the energetic body. So we do ourselves well by releasing these negative energies as soon as possible, so Before it hits our physical body.

Letting Go is basically accepting and not giving it anymore attention or energy so you don’t “feed” the negative energies, but basically let them desolve and replace for positive energies.

Not giving attention to it anymore can already be done by not keeping it in your mind any longer, as our Mind can create strong energies within ourselves and body, either negative or positive. So what would you prefer to set your intentions to? Don’t underestimate the Power of the Mind.

Using Positive Affirmations do really help to change your Mindset into a more Positive Mindset, and so does Meditation and sessions of Energy Healing or even Hypno Therapy.

Holding on too much stress and anxiety can literally make you physically ill, and it’s not worth it. You can’t change the Past and you don’t know yet what the Future will bring, so if you are able to live in The Now then there is no space for stress and anxiety as this mainly exists from worries and fear.

Use your internal power to Heal your Self by Letting Go of situations you can’t control, or situations that no longer serve you, or people that no longer should be in your life.

Letting Go is Healing your Self, Letting Go is taking control over your own Life and not let Life, people or situations control You.

Healing Facts of Herbs

Still a lot of people wonder if Herbs and Spices are actually working. I can say from my personal experience, “yes they do work”. It’s been since ages ago that the healing properties of herbs are written in texts and documents, and Herbalists these days study and research this to get the best healing benefits from it and to be able to help people in the best tailored way.

Herbs strengthen digestion:  

Most chronic disease starts with poor digestion. Many culinairy herbs have been used for thousands of years, not only for the good taste but also to help with digestion. More than often people have had poor digestion for so long that they assume it’s a natural part of life. Herbs and spices can help strengthen the digestion and often people experience that other complaints disappear.

The following symptoms are related with poor digestion: bloating, gas, indigestion, heartburn, constipation, nausea, poor appetite, recurring diarrhea and ulcers.

Digestion

Herbs are high in anti-oxidants: 

Anti-oxidants are an important key to limiting the damage done to the body by oxidative stress, which has been linked to heart disease, liver problems, arthritis, premature skin ageing and eye damage. It occurs when the body is overloaded with free radicals. The formation of free radicals is a natural part of living but can be dramatically increased by stress, eating processed foods, consuming overheated oils, breathing air pollutants or cigarette smoke, being sleep deprived or eat charred meats. To minimise oxidative stress, it’s important to limit these negative influences and regularly include high anti-oxidant foods, such as Herbs and Spices in your meals.

We live in quite a stressed culture, people are always “busy” when you ask them how they are doing. Excessive stress is so common these days that it almost seems “normal” to start your day with little sleep and be rushed, overworked and overcommitted. Chronic stress has been linked to six leading causes of death: cancer, coronary heart disease, accidental injuries, respiratory disorders, cirrhosis of the liver and suicide.

Herbs will not let you run on no sleep, rushing from activity to activity on your busy schedule and to-do list, but herbs ans spices can help us modulate the negative effects of stress. They can help shift us from the fight-or-flight response of our sympathetic nervous system to the sleep at night and reduce levels of anxiety during the day. In combination with fresh local food they offer us high amounts of the vitamins and minerals needed to support our nervous system, and so our mental health as well.

Herbs are anti-microbial:

Some herbs and spices offer a powerful defence against pathogenic bacteria. As a bacteria have evolved, they’ve adapted to the pharmaceutical antibiotics we use. After decades of overuse of antibiotics, more and more bacteria no longer respond to treatment using antibiotics, people get antibiotic-resistant.

Plants have been changing and evolving with bacteria for millennia, they have a very complex system that may make it harder for pathogens to adapt to them.

Although it can be necessary to use pharmaceutical antibiotic for certain conditions, doing so can have a far-reaching negative effects, particularly on our gut flora, which is the beneficial bacteria in our digestive tract. Pharmaceutical antibiotics act by wiping out all bacteria, even the beneficial ones. Antibiotic after all means “anti-life”.

Spices can be strongly anti microbial without being “anti-life”, instead of “knocking out” everyting they come in contact with, plants can be chosen for the specific type of infection. Plants can also be very effective against viruses and fungal infections. Herbs can go beyond simply “killing” a pathogen and also support the ecosystem of the body, they can restore integrity to mucous membranes and support healthy gut flora.

Back to the basics, Back to natural

“Your Consciousness will bring you back in touch with the Basics, with Nature and all that is really important in Life” – Angelique Mol

When I was growing witin my Self, my Awareness and Consciousness over the last years, I naturally got drawn more and more to just the basic things in Life.

I started to read more about foods, drinks, pharmaceutical medicine, healthcare and discovered all kind of things in my research. From GMO’s to hormones in our veggies and meats, and all extra chemicals we don’t need in medication.

It’s ironic, isn’t it…..we eat and drink too much processed products, too much sugars even though we know it’s not the best for us and our health. And believe me, I’m guilty of this myself! Though, for quite some time now I’ve been cutting down on processed products, buy and eat more fresh and organic, not drinking any fizzy drinks and became Vegetarian since about 6 years ago.

For me, personally, deciding to go on a Vegetarian diet was not only about animal cruelty which is connected with the meat we eat, but more so about all the hormones in it. Animals get pumped up with hormones to grow bigger and so “produce” more meat. But, when the animals are processed to our meat the hormones are still in there, as it comes in the blood. These hormones can give us serious health issues and illnesses. Best choice to get good and pure meat is from a local butcher from who you know that treats his animals right and their animals were feed on the right natural food.

Funny enough, when you grow in your Consciousness, there is not really a “way back”, as you became aware of so many things and you can’t really ignore it anymore. I do still Love chocolate and cookies, but try to keep it to a minimum eating it to avoid too much of an overload in sugars…..as be aware, cancer cells Love sugar!! And this is no myth.

Going back to more Basics, going back to more Natural…….. is it a “bad” thing? Are you a “Hippie” when you do so?  I don’t believe so! I started providing Healing and Herbalism because I Do believe we are too much disconnected from Nature and Mother Earth, and that we “ignore” the great benefits she can give us for our health. Mother Earth basically provides all we need, but we are so used now to an overload of luxury in our foods and material things.

Going back more Natural means for me that I will be able to not only help my Self becoming more healthy but also help others becoming so. I do feel at this moment in time there is a shift going on, and people start to pay more attention to natural remedies and natural medicine, but also more organic foods, you can even see it more and more in the supermarkets.

If you think, for yourself…..what do you Really need? Think in terms of your health but also in material things. Could you maybe minimalise your living standards? Could you change your diet with more fresh foods and less processed? What is true Inner Happiness for you? Is it all the Things you own or is it about being Healthy and feeling great within your Self and just being Grateful for all the small things in Life what you have and receive every day?

Sometimes I read articles and see photos of people in third world countries or Natives, and we always feel sympaty for them, which is great of course, but who do you think have more Inner Peace and Happiness? They might not have all the materialism We have, but they also don’t have all the pressure and stress We have to deal with on a daily basis. They just live in simplicity. Not to say that you need to throw out everything you own, but it can give you much more Inner Peace and Happiness when you try to simplify your Life, focus a bit more on leaving things behind us that we don’t actually need and taking a bit more care for our own Health by chosing more Natural options.

The less chemicals you get in your body, the less illnesses you will experience, your immune system will become stronger, natural medicine have no side effects, so it’s safe to use, and when you’re less attached to materialism in general it will give you more Inner Peace and Happiness, as you don’t Feel the Need anymore to have everything “just for the sake of having / owning it”, as you have enough.

For me, personally, I’m happy to be Basic and Natural. I’m happy to be able to help other people and animals, to have Respect for Nature and Mother Earth and to be Grateful every single day. As the fulfillment and satisfation I feel when I help others, even in small things, is something money can’t buy but is So much worth in value.
